Frequently Asked Questions

HOW DO I RESERVE A PUPPY?

After your application is submitted, we’ll send you an email to let you know if it was approved. If approved, you’ll have the option to place a $500 non-refundable deposit, which secures your spot on our master list.

Once your deposit is received, your name will be added to the bottom of the list. When a litter is born, we start at the top and work our way down the list until that litter has been filled. Families will have 24 hours to decide if they’d like to reserve a puppy from that specific litter or wait for the next one. If you choose to wait, your name will remain on the list and continue to move up based on the order deposits were placed.

Deposits are valid for 24 months from the date they are placed. If you have not selected a puppy within that time frame, your deposit will be forfeited and a new application and deposit will be required to rejoin the list.

PUPPY SELECTION PROCESS
Selection is based on the order of deposits placed. Puppy selection begins when the puppies are around seven weeks old. The person at the top of the list will choose first, followed by the next person, and so on.

The day before selection, we’ll send you pictures, videos, and evaluation notes to help you get familiar with each puppy and narrow down your favorites. On selection day, you’ll receive a 30-minute Zoom or FaceTime appointment with us. During that time, you can ask questions, see the puppies live, and make your final decision.

Once you’ve selected your puppy, the remaining balance is due, and we’ll begin organizing and planning for their go-home (gotcha) day.

We try to highlight the puppies frequently on Instagram Stories to show their growth and development. We’ll do our best to describe each one so you can get to know them as closely as possible. By the time selection day arrives, most families already have a few favorites picked out. You’re also welcome to visit the puppies in person before selection day.

HOW DO I PICK UP MY PUPPY?
We offer several options for getting your puppy home:
   •    Pick Up from Our Home: You’re welcome to pick up your puppy directly from us in Huntsville, Utah.
   •    Meet at the Airport: We can meet you at the Salt Lake City airport if you’d like to fly in and take your puppy home as a carry-on.
   •    Flight Nanny Delivery: We offer hand-delivery via flight nanny to most major U.S. airports. Your puppy will travel in-cabin and be delivered directly to you. Prices typically range from $600–$800+, depending on your location and time of year. You’ll receive text and photo updates throughout travel.

DO YOU OFFER BOARDING?

Puppies are ready to go home by 8 weeks. We do our best to work with different schedules and try to be accommodating to individual needs.  If you cannot pick up your puppy the week of puppy pick up, we offer a boarding program for puppies that need to stay with us past 8 weeks. Cost to board your puppy is $50/day for up to 2 weeks. During this time we will continue to work on potty training, kennel training, and socialization. Please note that we aren't always able to keep puppies past 8 weeks.

WHAT VETERINARY CARE WILL MY PUPPY RECEIVE BEFORE GOING HOME?

All puppies are examined by our veterinarian prior to going home and receive a clean bill of health. Puppies are also dewormed on schedule and sent home with a negative fecal test.

After nearly a decade of raising puppies, extensive research, and personal experience, we have chosen not to administer routine vaccinations prior to go-home. We recommend that families discuss timing and protocol with their trusted veterinarian based on their puppy’s lifestyle, environment, and individual needs.

We place a strong emphasis on species-appropriate nutrition, immune health, minimizing unnecessary toxin exposure, and creating a clean, enriching environment during the critical early weeks of life.

DO YOU HAVE A SALES CONTRACT?
Yes. All of our puppies are sold on a strict spay/neuter contract and do not come with full or limited registration papers.

We provide a one-year health guarantee against any life-threatening congenital disease or defect.

After you’ve selected your puppy, we’ll send you a sales contract via DocuSign. A signed, printed copy will also go home with your puppy.

WHAT WILL MY PUPPY COME WITH?

Each puppy will go home with a binder that will include all health records, signed sales contract, tips and tricks, a plush toy, a blanket with mother/sibling's scent, a bone, treats, and a small bag of puppy kibble.

NUTRITION
At Pineview Puppies, we believe that raising healthy puppies starts long before they go home. In addition to extensive health testing on all of our parent dogs, we place a strong emphasis on nutrition and early development.

We feed our dogs and puppies a combination of high-quality, ethically sourced kibble (Open Farm) and fresh, whole foods like raw goat milk, eggs, bone broth, and other nutrient-rich additions. Our goal is to build strong immune systems, support optimal growth, and lay the foundation for a long, healthy life.

Starting at 4 weeks old, our puppies are also introduced to a variety of supplements—including probiotics, joint support, and other key nutrients—to promote healthy digestion, strong bones and joints, and overall wellness during these critical early stages. We are passionate about what goes into our dogs’ bodies—just as much as the health testing we do on the outside—and we’re proud to raise puppies with both genetic soundness and vibrant health from the inside out.

ARE YOUR DOGS HEALTH TESTED?
Ensuring the health and well-being of all our puppies is our top priority. We only breed with the best of the best—top-quality, fully health-tested males and females. Our puppies are purposefully bred for superior intelligence, exceptional temperaments, and a strong desire to please. We strive to produce healthy, long-living companions with outstanding dispositions.

All of our parent dogs are DNA tested and have completed their OFA or PennHIP evaluations for hips, elbows, heart, and eyes.

PAYMENT

Our Goldens are sold as pets only for $5500. A $500 desposit secures your spot on the the master list. The remaining balance is due once you have selected your puppy. We accept Venmo, Zelle or Cash. If you're picking up your puppy in person, cash is preferred.

DO YOU FOLLOW A PUPPY CURRICULUM?

We believe a well-rounded puppy begins with intentional work done by the breeder. Through thoughtful breeding practices and by incorporating early development programs such as Puppy Culture, we provide each litter with a strong foundation from birth until go-home day.

From their earliest days, our puppies are handled daily and thoughtfully introduced to new experiences in a positive, age-appropriate way. This includes exposure to different sounds, surfaces, textures, gentle handling, enrichment activities, and the natural rhythm of everyday family life. Raised alongside our three young children, they benefit from regular interaction, affection, and socialization throughout their time with us.

As the puppies grow, they spend time exploring our property and experiencing the outdoors, fresh air, and new environments. They are also introduced to other animals on our homestead, including chickens, cats, and bunnies, which helps encourage confidence, curiosity, and adaptability. We also place a strong emphasis on early potty training and kennel conditioning. Beginning around four weeks of age, puppies are gradually introduced to these routines and worked with daily, helping ease the transition into their new homes.

Our goal is to raise puppies that are confident, well-socialized, and set up for long-term success as beloved family companions.
